The Rock Hall is continually behind in inductions and the times. As of now thousands of bands and fan favorites, still being played on the radio are not inducted. Its time us, the fans that support them, sign this petition to get these bands inducted.
“We the People of the Rock and Roll Capitol of the World and the fans of Rock all over the world hereby decree…
We want The Bands in our Rock Hall Immediately”
Build a modern, updated hall in VEGAS! Let’s face it,
that place is WAY COOLER than Cleveland!(the location, not the people) It’s party town, U.S.A.! All the cool bands play the Hard Rock, like GN’R, so why not start fresh with a new perspective and prepare an online ballot and let people like US decide!- ROCK ON!
-(Duplicated because it is an extremely GOOD IDEA!)

Best band in the 70 ‘ s
let’s all keep voicing are opions, and maybe one day we will all be heard, because one of the messages that rock and roll had displayed to us is to never give up! and to always keep rocking on. ROCK ON!
I’m like everyone else, I don’t understand why a place that is suppose to be representing rock and roll, would even consider representing anything else other than rock and roll music, I mean rock and roll created a altomant legacy, and for it to be treated this way is upserd, it should not have to fight it’s way into it’s own home in cleveland ohio, when the fans help build the hall of fame for rock and roll to be remember and rest in for generations to come.
I’m finally glad that there is a website that is allowing the fans to post there own comments because trust me, I have alot of them, and will be posting them in the near future, as I think of them, but trust me, the rock hall is a nice landmark for cleveland, just as long as they do what’s right for the place and the fans, remember people, the fans are the people who actaully spend money to go see the concerts, purchase the albums, and buy and save up all of the merchandise for generations to come, ROCK ON!
we all love rock and roll, and that’s what needs to be in there ONLY, if all the other groups as many other people would call them want to be in a hall of fame, they should use there own money that they make from there ticket and album sales, and build one like rock and roll did, and stop putting there stuff on display and move it to there own hall of fame.
I think that the bands who are not inducteded in the rock and roll hall of fame, should be inducteded and start with the most earliest bands, and they should work there way on down the line, and when they finally get in, they should do a big show at the induction ceremony in celebration for them getting inducteded, and they should at least inducted them before majority of the ones that are still alive pass away so that way they have a chance to see a induction ceremony, and all that they worked for is finally at rest, so that way the younger generation can listen to the music, and go to the Hall of fame, and see what rock and roll was really about, just as long as they take the groups that are in there, that don’t need to be in there such as THE RAP CRAP, OUT OF THERE! thank you guys, ROCK ON!

One name I’ve never seen mentioned is Ted Nugent he’s been around for almost fifty years how can he keep being passed over?
Grand Funk Railroad – Sold out Shea Stadium faster than the Beatles! ‘Nuff said!
No excuse for The Moody Blues not being there either.
Can’t believe that Joan Jett for example, along with tons of others, have been nominated ahead of these two bands or any of the dozens of others that are on your snub list. Rock Hall nominating committee needs to get a clue.
Many on the list are great bands in my eyes, especially Deep Purple, The Moody Blues, The Guess Who, and Yes. I loved their music growing and they made a lasting impression on me. Three of the four I have seen live and absolutely loved them. I never saw Deep Purple live and it kills me even today. When I think about seeing The Guess Who the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I literally was grinning from ear-to-ear during that show.
I think Nazareth is also snubbed, They made a career out of doing cover tunes that sold out arenas all over the world for 30+ years and helped spawn the next generation of rock bands in doing so.
Jethro Tull, 40 years, 21 studio albums….Grammy, give me a break
I am shocked and sad at the list of bands not getting in. I love Green Day and all, but they aren’t due just yet. Malarkey. The Rock Hall is garbage, man.
I am incredulous at the number of and the quality of the bands the rock hall “judges” snub each year. Who are you people anyway???? The band list attached to this petition is but a tiny sample of bands that NEED to be recognized for their incredible work over the years like Jethro Tull, and The Steve miller Band
