  1. Yes, I’m very happy that finally”The magnificent Moody Blues”have been nominated and even inducted into the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame in one try . Happy The Cars, Nina Simone and sister Tharpe have been recognized for their fantastic contribution to rock ‘n’ roll, but and it is a big butt-The Zombies should have been included with the 2018 years inductees. The Zombies have given and continue to give fans the best live music with new and fresh music coming from the band members at each performance. These guys have influenced a whole generation to “Hold Their Heads Up, Hold Their Heads High” A half a million voted came from their fans who voted relentlessly and I hope the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame committee members take note of that. The Zombies band is resilient !!!!!!!

  2. I’m actually pleased for a change with the choices and can’t quibble with their worthiness. I was rooting for J. Geils Band and the Eurythmics (I just love Annie Lennox’s voice), but Bon Jovi is solid (even though not a personal favorite), The Moody Blues should have been in a long time ago, The Cars and Dire Straights are solid, and Nina Simone was a great early pioneer and influence. If they can continue at this rate, maybe we can get more snubbed artists in the next few years. My personal favorite is Jethro Tull, but I’m not going to hold my breath on that one.
