On April 8, 2016 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will add the 2016 Hall of Fame Inductees. The Rock Hall’s 2016 performer class includes:
- Chicago
- Deep Purple
- Steve Miller
- Cheap Trick
- N.W.A.
The five new inductees were chosen from a list of nominees that included Janet Jackson, Yes, the Cars, the Spinners, Nine Inch Nails, the Smiths, Chaka Khan, Chic, Los Lobos and the J.B’s.
So we got THREE RockSnubs in this year (Chicago, Deep Purple and Cheap Trick). Time to update our list!

Yes should have made it! No disrespect to the rap world, but NWA over Yes? WTF! Of the list this year I would have put Yes and the cars in over NWA and Cheap Trick (not one of my favorites).
