This list started decades ago before the Rock Hall was physically opened in 1995. I started as a rant on Radio in the 80’s as 30 artists they missed and should be in that year! Then I got the idea that there should be more bands inducted every year because Rock and Roll grew by more than 10 bands per year from the very start. There were thousands. I worked in that industry and saw artists break out, go on to make it big, and never get the nod from a place they belong.
Then I made a list every year that grew to 40, and eventually added 10 bonus tracks making 50 per year that should be inducted. I’ve published, blogged, listed over the air on radio, and eventually got this domain to keep this list which those on the “bored” at the Rock Hall read too. We usually get 5 in a year from our list. 50 would still be a good start.
The Rock Hall is way behind and needs to catch up those that deserve to be in for decades! In Cleveland we demand this by eminent domain. Get that “Bored” out of New York and make the voting fair, including ALL members of bands inducted (many are NOT included). If they can have a FAN VOTE then put everyone on that list in!! We always welcome suggestions, comments and please spread the word about our website. LETS GET THEM ALL IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!
