2020 Rock Hall Nominees

2020 Nominees

Earlier this week, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced the 2020 nominees for entry into the Hall. The nominees are:

  • Pat Benatar
  • Dave Matthews Band
  • Depeche Mode
  • The Doobie Brothers
  • Whitney Houston
  • Judas Priest
  • Kraftwerk
  • MC5
  • Motörhead
  • Nine Inch Nails
  • The Notorious B.I.G.
  • Rufus featuring Chaka Khan
  • Todd Rundgren
  • Soundgarden
  • T. Rex
  • Thin Lizzy

There are seven of our snubbed bands on this year’s nominee list. That’s the most snubs nominated since this site was created. You can go here to vote for the TOP FIVE nominees you think should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! The fan votes will comprise a fans’ ballot that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2020 inductees to be announced in December!

There are still some MASSIVE snubs remaining… but perhaps our voices are finally being heard?

  1. Poco,Eddie Money,golden earring.

  2. The searchers, jay black and the Americans!

  3. It’s terrific that so many snubbed bands have now been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That doesn’t solve the fundamental problem the Rock Hall still has. It does not do a real good job of giving excellent information and historical context about the inductees. It omits or only gives minor mention to some bands that are fundamental to anyone who wants to investigate the history of rock. Its displays are confusing, with music and noise all around, so it’s impossible to really listen to music. The displays are dark and difficult to read. (1) Removing the cafeteria with the porch that overlooks Lake Erie and (2) not having that old film about the foundations of rock have diminished the experience of a visit. They’re hardly going in the correct direction if they claim to preserve the history and culture that surrounds Rock and Roll.
