  1. This year HOF Rock & Roll, was the worst I’ve seen on HBO. The main problems is with the picks of groups or personnel you selected. Creepy looking old men wearing lipstick, etc. For some reason, you have forgotten the great groups of the past. You seem to over look the others from San Francisco, the LA area and the surfing bands. Groups like, Spirit, Little Feat, Steppenwolf, Can Heat, Tommy James and the Shondells They had more hits than the groups you just inducted into HOF. San Francisco, such as Quick Silver Messenger Service, Moby Grape, Youngbloods. I know the east coast had no surfing sing groups. But, the West had great surfing bands. You let Joan Baez in, so how about, Judy Collins, Ian & Sylvia, Tom Paxton, etc….The officials of the HOF, forget the Doo Wop groups. So many to choose from. The Paris sisters, Kathy Young and the Innocents, Rosie and the Originals. I hope you guys open up your eyes to all the great groups you have over looked.

  2. So many great acts, bands and solo artists yet to be inducted. Here’s my personal favorites:
    1. Jethro Tull 2. Emerson, Lake and Palmer 3. The Doobie Brothers 4. Kansas 5. Supertramp 6. Carole King (as a performer) 7. Joe Cocker 8. Peter Frampton 9. J. Geils Band 10. The Alan Parsons Project.

Yes, I tend to favor the late sixties through the mid-eighties.

There are so many good acts yet to be inducted though, and some cringe worthy acts already in.

  3. Janet Jackson and Stevie Nicks??? Hardly. Janet Jackson had a few hits. She’s OK, but not RNR HOF great. Stevie Nicks with Fleetwood Mac? Great! Stevie Nicks solo? Sucks balls. Ughhhhhh, that voice. It’s painful to listen to. Without Lindsey Buckingham in her corner writing great songs, playing great guitar, she’s less than average. Here’s who SHOULD have been inducted, but wasn’t…again! T-Rex, Harry Nilsson, The Smiths, Three Dog Night, The Monkees, Big Star, Barry White, Buzzcocks, solo Carole King, Dick Dale, The Guess Who, The Jam, Joy Division, MC5, Steppenwolf, X, Warren Zevon, and XTC, to name a few. Stevie Nicks solo, my a**.
