The front man of one of the most well known Rock Snubs has called out the Rock Hall’s chairman Jann Wenner. Paul Stanley of KISS told Huffington Post recently, “Look, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is marketing. You’ve got a bunch of faceless people in a back room who trademark a name that sounds very official. Well, if you had thought of it first, you would have been the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.”
He went on to say, “It’s absurd for anybody to look around and hear the acts and artists who cite us as an inspiration, and then tell me that we’re not in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.”

Personally, I think its absurd that KISS isn’t in the Hall. Whether you like them or not, you simply cannot deny their influence. Aside from that, I’ve never (aside from apparently the people making the decision) ran across anyone that though KISS shouldn’t be in the hall. How can so a selection board be so out of touch? I just don’t get it.
